Hello friend
-------------------

⏩ In the example

x-1/x = 1/2 then find the value of (4x^2+4/x^2

First we have to find the value of x.

Therefore by cross multiply.

we get,

x-1/x = 1/2

x = 2(x-1)

x = 2x - 2

x - 2x = 2

x = 2

So,now we got the value of x.

Now it's easy to find the other values.

So let's go,

x = 2 taking.

= (4x^2+4/x^2)

= 4*(2)^2+4/(2)^2

= 4*4+4/4

= 16+1

= 17

Therefore,(4x^2+4/x^2) = 17

I hope this will helps you....

Thanks.

Heya..

Since (x - 1/x) = 1/2

Squaring both sides,

=) (x - 1/x)^2 = (1/2)^2

=) x^2 + 1/x^2 - 2* x* 1/x = 1/4

=) x^2 + 1/x^2 - 2 = 1/4

=) x^2+ 1/x^2 = 1/4 + 2

=) x^2 + 1/x^2 = 9/4

Multiply both sides by 4,

=) 4(x^2 + 1/x^2) = 4* 9/4

=) 4x^2 + 4/x^2 = 9

Hope it's helpful to u.
