Step-by-step explanation:

√x+1 + √x-1 = 2.

minus 1 and plus 1 gets cancelled....

so,√x+√x= 2.

2√x = 2.

√x = 2/2.

√x = 1.

x = √1.

x= √(1)^2

square and root gets cancelled....because 1 is an perfect square....

x = 1

aparnashreegmailcom: @babushall you had written here, x=√1 and x=1 but how?? previously it is x=√1 and now x=1?
aparnashreegmailcom: ok I understand it
babushall: 1 is perfect square
babushall: then why you have reported my answer
babushall: 1 is perfect square....so both square and square root gets cancelled
babushall: so x =1
aparnashreegmailcom: yah i got it
