Method Used:-

We should square on the both sides and Wes Gould use the formulae [a+b] ²= a²+b²+2ab

Solution=>

=>[x+1/x]²=x²+1/x²+2×x×1/x

=>[10]²=x²+1/x²+2

=>100-2=x²+1/x²

=>98=x²+1/x²
