x - \frac{1}{x} = \sqrt{18} \\ take \: squre \: both \: side \\ {(x - \frac{1}{x}) } ^{2} = 18 \\ {(x + \frac{1}{x} )}^{2} - 2x( \frac{1}{x} ) = 18 \\ {(x + \frac{1}{x}) }^{2} - 2 = 18 \\ {(x + \frac{1}{x}) }^{2} = 22 \\ {(x + \frac{1}{x} )} = + - \sqrt{22} \:
