x -  \cancel{  \dfrac{1}{x - 2}}  = 2  -   \cancel{ \dfrac{1}{x - 2} }

x = 2

Putting x=2 in Original Equation,

2 -  \dfrac{1}{2 - 2}  = 2 -  \dfrac{1}{2 - 2}

2 -  \dfrac{1}{0}  = 2 -  \dfrac{1}{0}

Since, \dfrac{1}{0} is Undefined, We conclude there are no solutions for x.

 \implies \boxed{  x \in \phi}
