x + 1/x = 2 & x - 1/x =2
by elimating method
2/x=0
thts mean 1/x = 0
so,
x/x² + 3x-1 = 1/4
x to x cancel
1/x + 3x -1 =1/4. note 1/x =0
so put 1/x =0 in eqn
0+ 3x-1 =1/4
3x= 1/4+1
3x = 5/4
x = 5/12 .may b its correct..
