1+x/x=2
then now
given
question
x^4+1/x^4=
(x+1)^4=x^4+1
and
(x)^4=x^4
then
in
[(x+1)]/[(x)]^4=2^4
2^4=2×2×2×2

(x  + 1 \div x) ^{2}  =  {x}^{4}  +    \frac{1}{x} ^{4}  + 2 \\  {2}^{2}  =  {x}^{4}  +  \frac{1}{x}  ^{4}  + 2 \\ 4 - 2 =  {x}^{4}  + (1 \div x)  ^{4}

2 =  {x}^{4} +  \frac{1}{x^{4} }

hope this helps
