if x+1/x=√3....find x^4+1/x^4...reply fast

Hi ,

x + 1/x = √3 ----( 1 )

Square equation ( 1 ) , we get

( x + 1/x )² = ( √3 )²

x² + 1/x² + 2 = 3

x² + 1/x² = 3 - 2

x² + 1/x² = 1 ---( 2 )

Square equation ( 2 ) , we get

( x² + 1/x² )² = 1²

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ + 2 = 1²

x⁴ + 1/x⁴ = 1 -2

= -1
