if x+1/x=3 then x+1=3 and x=3-1=2 then x-1/x=2-1/3 and the answer is1/3

=x+1=3x

=x-3x=-1

=-2x=-1

=x=½

now ,

x-1/x

=½-1/½

=-½/½

=-1
