x+1=3x
1=3x-x
2x=1
.•. x = 1/2
(4x^2+1)/4x^2
= (4*(1/2)^2+1)/4*(1/2)^2
= (4*1/4+1)/4*1/4
= 1+1/1
= 2/1
= 2

I think that the answer is 2 .
I apologize, I think x + (1/x) =3 => x^2 -3x +1=0
