Given, x+1/x=4
Now,
x^3+1/x^3
={(x+1/x)^3}-(3*x*1/x)(x+1/x) [by formula ]
=(4)^3-(3*4)
[since x+1/x=4]
=64-12
=52. (ans)

kalluuuuuu: is it correct
Moumita7: Yes it is
chammus: how
Moumita7: By simple application of the formula a^3+b^3=(a+b)^3-3ab(a+b)
