if x+1/x=7 ,then find value of x^2+1/x^2 and x^4+1/x4

x+1/x=7
x+1=7x
6x=1
x=1/6
now putting the value of x in
x^2+1/x^2 we get:
=[ (1/6)^2+1 ] / [ (1/6)^2 ]
=[1/36+1] / [1/36]
=[37/36] / [1/36]
=37
Ans: 37

now x^4+1/x^4
=(1/6)^4+1 / (1/6)^4
=1/1296+1 / 1/1296
=1297/1296 / 1/1296
=1297
Ans:1297
