hey mate,
x+1/×=8
by solving we get x^2=7
substitute x^2=7 in the above eqn.
we get 49+1/49=2401

x+1/x=8 square on both sides we get (x+1/x)^2=64 then we get x^2+1/x^2+2=64 .....x^2+1/x^2=62
