if X+1/X =8 ,find the value of x²+1/x

x+1/x=8

x+1=8x

7x=1

x=1/7

x^2+1/x= 1/49+1/1/7

= 1/49+7

=1+343/49

=344/49

= 7.02

The answer is 7.02 or 344/49
