Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

X - 1 / X = 9

On Squaring both sides , we get

( X - 1/X)² = 9²

We know that ,

( a - b )² = a² + b² - 2ab.

Here , a = x and b = 1/x

Therefore

( x - 1/x )² = 9²

x² + 1/x² - 2* x * 1/ x = 81

x² + 1/x² - 2 = 81

x² + 1/x² = 81 + 2

x² + 1/x² = 83.

Hope it will help you :)

AnswEr :

➟ x - \large\tt{\frac{1}{x}} = 9

Squaring Both Side :

➟ (x - \large\tt{\frac{1}{x}})² = (9)²

➟ (x)² + \large\tt{ ( { \frac{1}{x} )}^{2} } - 2 × x × \large\tt{\frac{1}{x}} = 9 × 9

➟ x² + \large\tt{ { \frac{1}{x^{2}} } } - 2 = 81

➟ x² + \large\tt{ { \frac{1}{x^{2}} } } = 81 + 2

\huge \tt{ {x}^{2} +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  = 83 }
