hi!

Given :
x = 1,
y = 1..

To find : 3x + ay = 6.

Put the value on x & y in this equation ;

=) 3(1) + a(1) = 6

=) 3 + a = 6

=) a = 6-3

=) a = 3

To check :

=) 3(1) + 3(1) = 6

=) 3 + 3 = 6

=) 6 = 6

=) lhs = rhs

Hope it helps uh!!

Answer:

=> The value of a = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that: -

3x+ay=6

If x = 1, y = 1

We have to determine the value of a,

Now, plug the value of x as 1 and y as 1:

As we have,

=> 3x+ay=6

=> 3 ( 1 ) + a ( 1 ) = 6

=> 3 + a = 6

=> a = 6 - 3

Subtract the numbers we get,

=> a = 3

Hence, the value of a is 3.
