=3 x 1 - 2 x 2 + 4 x 5

=3 - 4 + 20

=3 + 16

=19

ii) x2+ y2+ z2

=1 x 2 + 2 x 2 + 5 x 2

=2 + 4 + 10

=6 + 10

=16

iii) 2x2- 3y2+z2

= 2 x 2 - 3 x 2 x 2 + 5 x 2

=4 - 6 x 2 + 10

=4 - 12 + 10

=4 - 2

=2

iv) xy+yz-zx

=1 x 2 + 2 x 5 - 5 x 1
