Given :

The value of x = - 1

The value of y = 2

The equation is

3 x + 4 y = k

To Find :

The value of k

Solutions :

The equation is 3 x + 4 y = k

And , x = -1

        y = 2

put the value of x and y into equation

∴   3 × (  -1 ) + 4 × ( 2 ) = k

Or,  k = - 3 + 8

i.e   k = 5

Hence The value of k is 5  . Answer
