Given p(x) = x^101

By remainder theorem,

= > x + 1 = 0

= > x = -1.

Plug x = -1, we get

= > (-1)^101

= > -1.

Hope this helps!

x+1=0
x= -1
p(x) = x^101
p(-1)= remainder { using the remainder theoram}
(-1)^101
= -1
