Given :

  • (x + 15) and (x + 25) are complementary.

To find :

  • The value of “x”.

Solution :

We know that ,

The Sum of complimentart angles = 90°

Therefore,

A/Q

↬(x + 15) + (x + 25) = 90°

↬x + x + 15 + 25 = 90°

↬2x + 40 = 90°

↬2x = 90° - 40°

↬2x = 50°

↬x = 50/2

↬x = 25°

Therefore,the value of x is 25° respectively.

__________________________

Let's find the Values of the angles.

  • (x + 15) = 25 + 15 = 40°
  • (x + 25)= 25 + 25 = 50°

We can Verify our answer ,

Sum of complimentary angles = 90°

40° + 50° = 90°

90° = 90°

Hence,our angles are right.

Step-by-step explanation:

Measure of sum of two complementary angles =180°

so,

=》x+15+x+25 = 90°

=2x + 40 = 90°

= 2x = 90° - 40

= x = 50°/2

= x = 25°

So,

x+15 = 25+15 = 40°

x+25 = 25+25 = 50°
