Hii friend,

X²+1/X² = 27

X²+1 = 27X²

27X²-X² = 1

26X² = 1

X² = 1/26

X= ✓1/26

Therefore,

X-1/X = (✓1/26) - 1 / ✓1/26

= 1 - ✓26/✓26 / 1/✓26

= 1-✓26/1 = 1-✓26 Ans.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

x^2 + 1/x^2 = 27

Subtracting 2*x*1/x = 2 from both sides, we get

x^2 + 1/x^2 - 2*x*1/x = 27 - 2

(x)^2 + (1/x)^2 - 2(x)(1/x) = 25

We know that,

a^2 + b^2 - 2ab = (a - b)^2

So, (x - 1/x)^2 = 25

Therefore, (x - 1/x) = √(25) = 5.
