 {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  = 27 \\ ( {x +  \frac{1}{x} })^{2}  - 2 = 27 \\ ( {x +  \frac{1}{x} })^{2}  = 29 \\ x +  \frac{1}{x}  =  \sqrt{29} \\ \\   {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  = 27 \\ (x -  \frac{1}{x} ) ^{2}  + 2  = 27\\( x -  \frac{1}{x}) ^{2}   = 25 \\ x -  \frac{1}{x}  = 5
