Answer:

x^2+1/x^2 = 7

(x+1/x)^2-2 =7 [ (a^2+b^2) = (a+b)^2-2ab]

(x+1/x)^2 = 9

(x+1/x) = 3

x^3 +1/x^3 = (x+1/x) (x^2+1/x^2-1)

= 3(7-1). [a^3+b^3 = (a+b)(a^2+b^2-ab)]

= 3*6

= 18
