 {x}^{2} - 2x + 1 = 0

 {x}^{2} + 1 = 2x

 \frac{ {x}^{2} + 1}{x} = 2

 \frac {{x}^{2} }{x} + \frac{1}{x} = 2

x + \frac{1}{x} = 2

Thus x + 1/x = 2
This is the shortest way plz Mark as Brainliest!!
