Given: (x + 2), 2x, (2x + 3) are three consecutive terms of an AP.

So, 2x – (x + 2) = (2x + 3) – 2x

2x – x – 2 = 2x + 3 – 2x

x – 2 = 3

x = 2 + 3 = 5

Answer:

D = A2 - A1 and A3 - A2

2x - (x+2) = 2x+3 - 2x

X-2 = 3

x = 5
