x=-2/3,y=1/4

[x+y]+[x-y]

[-2/3+1/4]+[-2/3-1/4]

=>[-2×4/12+3/12][-2×4/12-3/12]

=>[-8+3/12][-8-3/12[

=>[-5/12][-11/12]

=>[-55/144]
