Step-by-step explanation:

(x+1/x)=(2+√3 + 1/2+√3)

=(2+√3)^2 +1

------------------------

2+√3

=2^2+√3^2+4√3+1

---------------------------

2+√3

=4+3+4√3+1

ANSWER...

x=2+√3..........(i)

Take reciprocal of both side

\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{2+\sqrt[2]{3} }

Now Rationalize it.

\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{2+\sqrt[2]{3} } *\frac{2-\sqrt[2]{3} }{2-\sqrt[2]{3} }

  \frac{1}{x} =2-√3 ......(ii)

Now adding both equation..

x + \frac{1}{x}=2+√3+2-√3

x + \frac{1}{x}= 4

So answer is 4
