Step-by-step explanation:

(x+2,4)

the value of y is 4 (as 4 is the value along y-axis)  eq.1

(5,y-2)

the value of x will be 5 eq.2

so, by eq.1

y-2 = 4

y = 4-2

y = 2

by eq.2

x+2 = 5

x = 5+2

x = 7

∴ x = 7, y = 2
