x = 2√5 + √3

y = 2√5 - √3

x² + y² = (2√5 + √3)² + (2√5 - √3)²

           =  (2√5)²+2(√3)(2√5)+(√3)² +   (2√5)²+2(√3)(2√5)-(√3)²

           = 20+ 4√15 +3 + 20+ 4√15 -3

           = 40 + 8√15
