Given : x⁻² = 64

(1/x)² = 8²

[By the law of exponents , a-ⁿ = 1/a]

1/x = 8

x = 1/8

Then,  x¹/³ + x⁰

= (⅛)¹/³ + (⅛)⁰

= (1/2³)¹/³ + 1

[By the law of exponents, a^0 = 1]

= ½ + 1

= (2 +1)/2

= 3/2

Hence, x¹/³ + x⁰ is 3/2 .

Option (C) 3/2 is correct.

x⁻² = 64

=>(1/x)² = 8²

=>1/x = 8

=>x = 1/8

Now,

x¹/³ + x⁰

putting the value of x

then,we get answer

= (⅛)¹/³ + (⅛)⁰

= (1/2³)¹/³ + 1

= ½ + 1

= (2 +1)/2

= 3/2

Thus, x¹/³ + x⁰ is 3/2
