Answer:

 \frac{dy}{dx}  =   \frac{x}{y}

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{x^{2} }{ {a}^{2} }  -  \frac{ {y}^{2} }{ {a}^{2} }  = 1

On taking L.C.M.

 \frac{ {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2} }{ {a}^{2} }  = 1 \\  {x  }^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  =  {a}^{2}  \\

Differentiating both side with respect to x

 \frac{d}{dx} ( {x}^{2} ) -  \frac{d}{dx} ( {y}^{2} ) =  \frac{d}{dx} (1)

2x - 2y. \frac{dy}{dx}  = 0

2x = 2y. \frac{dy}{dx}  \\  \frac{2x}{2y}  =  \frac{dy}{dx}

 \frac{ x}{y}  =  \frac{dy}{dx}
