Given,

x = -2

y = 6

Substitute the value of x and y

x/y + -y/x

-2/6 + -6/-2

-1/3 + 3

9+(-1)/3

9-1/3

8/3

x/y+-y/x=-2/6-6/-2
=-2/6+3
=-2+18/6
=16/6
