Hey!!!!

We have
2x² + kx - 2√3 = 0

and x - 2 = 0
=> x = 2

Thus 2(2)² + k(2) - 2√3 = 0

=> 8 + 2k - 2√3 = 0

=> 2k = 2√3 - 8

=> k = √3 - 4

Hope this helps

X-2
X=2

2x^2+kx-2root 3
2(2)^2+k(2)-2root 3
2(4)+2k-2root3
8+2k=2root 3
2k=2root3-8
K=2root 3-8/2=2(root 3-4)/2=root 3-4

Hope it's help you friend ☺️
