5 {(2)}^{4}  - 10 {(2)}^{3}  + 2 {(2)}^{2}  - 2p + 10 = 0 \\  \\ 80  - 80 + 8 - 2p + 10 = 0 \\  \\ 2p = 18 \\  \\ p = 9
