If x-2 is a factor of polynomial (x)3-2k(x)2+16 then find the value of k

Heya..!!!!

Given that:-

X - 2 = 0

X = 2 put this value in the Equation

ww get,

X³ - 2kx² + 16 = 0

=> (2)³ - 2×k×(2)² + 16 = 0

=> 8 - 8k + 16 = 0

=> 8k = 24

=> K = 3

if x-is a factor then
x=2
8-8k+16=0
24=8k
k=3
