(x-2) is a factor of the equation

(x-2)=0

x=2

f(x) =  {(x - 1)}^{6}  - (2x + 3k)

f(2) = (2 - 1) {}^{6}  - (2 \times 2 + 3k) \\ 0 =  {1}^{6}  - (4 + 3k) \\ 4 + 3k = 1 \\ 3k =  - 3 \\ k =  - 1 \:  \: ans \:  \:
