if x-2 is a factor of x^2 +ax^3+bx+16 and a-b=6 ,find the values of a and b....................???....pls help me with a correct answer

since x-2 is a factor of the polynomial, then x =2
we get,
4+8a+2b+16=0
=>8a+2b=-20
=>4a+b=-10--------(i)
a-b=6----------------(ii)

(i)+(ii)=>
5a=-4
=>a=-4/5

so, b=-10-(-4/5)×4
=>b=-10+16/5
=>b=-34/5
