f(x)=2

8+4k-2+2=0

8+4k=0

4k= -8

k= -2

Answer:

if \: x - 2 \: is \: a \: factor \\  \\ x = 2 \\  \\  {x}^{3}  + k {x}^{2} - x + 2 = 0 \\  \\  {(2)}^{3}   + k {(2)}^{2}  - 2  + 2 = 0 \\  \\ 8 + 4k = 0 \\  \\ 4k =  - 8 \\  \\ k =  \frac{ - 8}{4}  =  - 2 \\  \\ hope \: it \: helps
