If (x − 2) is a factor of x3 + 4x2 − 3x −k. Find the value of k.

Answer:

x-2=0

so x =2

put x=2 in this equation

8+4*4-3*2-k=0

8+16-6-k=0

18-k=0

-k=-18

k=18
