If x-2 is a factor of x3+ax2+bx+16 and b=4a find the value of a and b

x=2

put it in equation,

2*3+a*2*2+b*2+16=0

4a+2b= -22

because b=4a

hence,  4a+2*4a = -22

16a = -22
