PUTTING THE VALUE OF'X' IN THE EQUATION:

2X^3+3X-p

2(2)^3+3(2)-p

2*8+6-p

16+6-p

22=p

SO, THE VALUE OF 'p' is 22

We put x = 2 in the equation

 {2x}^{3}  + 3x - p \:  = 0 \\ 2( {2}^{3} ) + 3(2) - p   = 0\\ 2(8) + 6 - p \:  = 0 \\ 16 + 6  - p = 0 \\ p = 22
