Answer:

If x=2 is a zero of polynomial 2x^2 +3x - p

then,

f(2) = 2(2)^2 + 3(2) - p = 0

=> 8 + 6 -p = 0

=> p = 14

Hope this helps you

Answer:

zero of a polynomial also means that it is the factor of the polynomial.

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x)= 2x^2 +3x -p

HERE X IS 2

SOO.....

p(2)= 2(2)^2 + 3(2)-p

=2(4) + 6 -p

= 8 + 6 - p

forming an equation by substituting zero to the oppo. side .

now....

8+6-p =O

14 - p = 0

moving -p to the opposite side gives :-

14=0 + p

14 = p

° THEREFORE THE VALUE

° ° OF p IS 14.
