If x+2 is the zero of x^2-4x+b and a+b=6,find the value of a and b

put X = -2 since X +2 is it's zeros so
(-2)^2 -4(-2)+b = 0
4+8 +b = 0
b = -12
given that
a+b = 6
a+(-12)= 6
a = 18
