therefore,x + 1/x = 2+root3 + 2 - root3 = 4
x2 - 1 /x2 = (x + 1/x)(x - 1/x) = (2+root3 + 2 - root3)(2 + root3 - 2 + root3)
= 4 * 2root3
= 8 root3
therefore,x + 1/x = 2+root3 + 2 - root3 = 4
x2 - 1 /x2 = (x + 1/x)(x - 1/x) = (2+root3 + 2 - root3)(2 + root3 - 2 + root3)
= 4 * 2root3
= 8 root3
