Question

if x = 2 , then find the value of y in y=x+3

Answer

putting the value of x =2 in the equation we get ,

y = x +3

=> y = 2+3

Now by adding 2 and 3 we will get the value of y

=> y = 5

Hence, the value of y is 5 .

Verify

now lets let only the y value =5 then lets find out the value of 2 .

=> 5=x+3

=> 5-3= x ( by transposing method )

=> 2 = x

Hence, proved
