x = 6

x/2 + x/3 = 5.

Taking the LCM, we get :

( 3x + 2x ) / 6 = 5

( LCM is 6 ).

So, 5x / 6 = 5.

Hence , 5x = 5 × 6 .

5x = 30 .

x = 30/ 5.

So, x = 6.
