Given:

  • (x+2) and ( x²+4) are length and breadth of a rectangle .

To Find:

  • The area of the rectangle.

Answer:

Given that a rectangle has a length of (x+4) and breadth of (x²+4) .

Now we know the area of rectangle as ,

Area = (length × breadth)

=> A = (x+2)(x²+4)

=> A = x ( x²+4)+2(x²+4)

=>A = x³ + 4x + 2x² + 8.

=> A = x³ + 2x² +4x + 8.

Hence the area is x³ + 2x² +4x + 8.
