Answer:

x - 1/y = 1 or x = 1+1/y = (y+1)/y

z - 1/x = 3 or z = 3 + 1/x = 3 + y/(y+1)

y - 1/z = 2 or 1/z = y-2 or z = 1/(y-2)

Thus z = 3 + y/(y+1) = 1/(y-2)

3(y+1)(y-2) +y(y-2) = (y+1)

3y^2–3y-6+y^2–2y = y+1

4y^2–6y-7 = 0

y = [6+(36+112)^0.5]/8

= [6+12.16552506]/8

= 2.270690633

There is a negative value of y which I am not working out.

Hence xyz = [(y+1)/y]*y*1/(y-2)

= [(2.270690633+1)/2.270690633]*2.270690633*1/(2.270690633-2)

= 12.08276253. Answer.
