Step-by-step explanation:

x2 +y2 = 13

x2 +y2 = (x+y)2-2xy

13 =( x+ y )2 - 2×6

13 = (x+y )2 -12

25 = (x+y )2

5 = x + y

now

x3 +y3 =( x+y )3 -3xy (x+ y )

= ( 5)3 - 3×6 × 5

= 125 - 90

= 35.

hence

x3 + y3 = 35
