Equation = 3ax + 2by = 6
Where x = (-2)
and
Y = 6
Putting the value of x and y in equation
3a × (-2) + 2b × 6 = 6
= -6a + 12b = 6
= -a + 2b = 1.
= 2b = 1+a
= b = (1+a)/2. -(1)
In equation 2
2(a-1)+2(3b-4) = 4
Putting b = (1+a)/2 in equation
= 2(a-1) + 2[3(1+a)/2 -4] = 4
= 2a - 2 + 3 + 3a - 8 = 4
= 5a -7 = 4
= 5a = 4+7 = 11
= a = 11/5
b = (1+a)/2
= (1+11/5)/2
= 16/(5×2)
= 16/10
= 8/5 answer

X = -2 and Y = 6
3aX + 2bY = 6 -------(1)
Substitute the value of X and Y in equation (1) , we get :
3 × a × (-2) + 2 × b × 6 = 6
-6a + 12b = 6
-6a + 12b - 6 = 0
6 ( -a + 2b - 1 ) = 0
-a + 2b = 1
a = ( 2b - 1 ) -------(2)
Putting the value of a in ,
2 ( a - 1 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
2 ( 2b - 1 - 1 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
2 ( 2b - 2 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
4b - 4 + 6b - 8 = 4
4b + 6b - 4 - 8 = 4
10b - 12 = 4
10b = 4+12
10b = 16
b = 16/10
b = 8/5
3aX + 2bY = 6 -------(1)
Substitute the value of X and Y in equation (1) , we get :
3 × a × (-2) + 2 × b × 6 = 6
-6a + 12b = 6
-6a + 12b - 6 = 0
6 ( -a + 2b - 1 ) = 0
-a + 2b = 1
a = ( 2b - 1 ) -------(2)
Putting the value of a in ,
2 ( a - 1 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
2 ( 2b - 1 - 1 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
2 ( 2b - 2 ) + 2 ( 3b - 4 ) = 4
4b - 4 + 6b - 8 = 4
4b + 6b - 4 - 8 = 4
10b - 12 = 4
10b = 4+12
10b = 16
b = 16/10
b = 8/5
